In 1985, Frontier Financial Partners was incorporated as a non-profit organization. The Small Business Administration (SBA) designated the firm as a Certified Development Company in 1986. This recognition empowered FFP to promote economic development through SBA programs. FFP now provides a variety of financial services to businesses and communities in Kansas and Western Missouri.

Wayne Symmonds

President / CEO • Email Wayne

Wayne Symmonds, President and CEO of Frontier Financial Partners, has been with the firm since March of 1989. He began his financial career in 1974 with Farm Credit. While there he worked in three branch offices as well as the headquarters office. Ultimately, he went on to manage two of their branch offices. Mr. Symmonds earned his degree in Business Administration from Emporia State University. He also received a diploma from the National Commercial Lending
School at the University of Oklahoma.

Kelley Fowler

Loan Closing Officer • Email Kelley

Loan Closing Officer Kelley Fowler closes all loans and assists with the legal aspects of loan servicing. She has worked for FFP since January 1998. Today, Kelly has over 20 years of experience assisting with and closing real estate loans. Kelly lives in Cottonwood Falls and works out of her home. For her top-quality loan closing practices, she has received the highest possible ratings by the SBA.

Jamin Will

Controller • Email Jamin

Jamin Will started as an entry level accountant with FFP in June of 1999 and now serves as their controller. Jamin holds a bachelors in accounting degree from Emporia State University, a masters in accountancy degree from Kansas State University, and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant. Jamin works part-time for FFP providing full service accounting responsibilities. Currently, Jamin’s full-time occupation has him serving as controller for POET Ethanol Products, a global leader in the energy and agricultural space, located in Wichita, Kansas.

Elizabeth Engelken

Accounting Assistant

Elizabeth Engelken graduated with her undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from Emporia State University in 2005. Since that time, Elizabeth has been a devoted public educator and currently teaches at Rose Hill Middle School in Rose Hill, Kansas. Elizabeth began working for FFP in 2013. She works part-time providing administrative support, completing clerical and bookkeeping tasks.
